This blog is a loose collection of things I’ve enjoyed on my travels and practical information to help you travel better.

I’m an editor but my day job isn’t always very creative so this is where I write for fun and try out new stuff.

I’m a big fan of Eastern Europe and I live in Bristol, UK so I write most about these places.

Here I am with some lovely tiles in Porto. Sorry you can’t really see my face. It turns out there are very few pictures of me travelling. 

Why ‘Fruit With Strangers’?

Strangers always seem to feel the need to give me fruit (especially when I’m on my own).

Over the years I’ve made loads of friends over a shared pineapple, lychee or banana.

It’s also the name of my prog rock concept album (nah, just joking).
